MAA Day at the Capitol 2024

We are excited to announce the 2024 MAA Day at the Capitol. This is an opportunity to meet with our representatives, educate them about what we do, and ask for their support on acupuncture legislation. This year it is especially important as we are hopeful that our long awaited scope of practice update bill may finally get a hearing. This means we need as many acupuncturists from around the state as possible to join us and ask their representatives for their support.

We will set up a time for you to connect with your representative's office and provide you with handouts and basic talking points. All you need to bring is your passion for this medicine. The day will begin with the whole group before breaking out to meet with individual representatives. Participating in legislative advocacy also qualifies for CEU (PE-AT) credit as a professional enhancement activity.

In order to set up meetings with the right representatives, we are requesting participants to RSVP using THIS LINK as soon as possible.

If you can't make it, but would still like to help by emailing or calling your representative, also fill out the RSVP form and we'll reach out with a script/draft and contact information for your representative.
