Gongfu Tea Time with North East Tea House.

Join your friends and colleagues and the Minnesota Acupuncture Association for tea time and social gathering.  

At this event, you will taste three distinct Asian teas offered by Minneapolis-based Northeast Tea House (www.northeastteahouse.com), all prepared for you in the traditional Chinese gongfu method of multiple short brews, and sample an array of sweets as accompaniments.  

Specifically, you will be drinking:

1) Honey Orchid Dancong Oolong, a hugely fragrant tea with notes of melon, orchid, ginseng, and pine.

2) 8-treasure herbal, a very floral decaf blend featuring jasmine, rose, marigold, coneflower, safflower, chrysanthemum, goji, and licorice.

3) Xinyang Mao Jian green, a refreshing tea full of both floral notes and sweet pea.  

Among the sweets will be traditional Japanese mochi, spiced walnut clusters (both of these gluten-free), as well as our take on shortbread with a matcha sugar dusting, and mini-scones.
